A Sunny Place

Literally 1984

Felt like ranting in my car today. I love that this is a thing people do.

For some reason, I keep thinking about the time my old Canadian friend theorized that I probably smelled like wet towel (this was before we met irl).

"What makes you think that?"

"I dunno. I just think you smell like wet towel."

"Well I don't! And you'll come to find that out whenever we meet!"

"Suuuure..."

Lo and behold, I did not smell like wet towel. He said I actually smelled very good. If there's one physical compliment I get from people (aside from them pointing out my curls), it's that I smell good. I am a fragrance master. I have oil based perfumes from Dubai. Don't mess with my scents.

All of that reminds me of when Arthur accidentally brushed his hand against my hair while reaching for something.

"Your hair is really soft, David. I wasn't expecting it to be, but wow."

Yeees. My hair is silky smooth. It also desperately needs a trim. Now that the weather's getting a little warmer, I want to cut it shorter again.

In other news, Bear's discover page is awesome. Lots of neat little articles from all sorts of people.

This blog is wonderful. The layout has me drooling... The owner looks cool as fuck too. I love her. Urrrgh. I'm slowly learning how to code, but it's nowhere near as advanced as some of these blogs. How do they do the hashtag sorting thing??? How do they do custom themes and crazy visuals??? I will figure this out eventually, but teaching myself how to do it has been a challenge. I can't seem to get the formatting quite right. I might see if any of my friends are familiar with CSS so I can get more direct instruction.
